The Millwood - Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we offer tours to San Francisco, Muir Woods, Napa and Sonoma Wine Country, Monterey area, and Yosemite. Tours originate and end at our hotel.

All our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in our courtyard parking lot.

Our complimentary hot buffet breakfast is available from 6 am till 9:30 am. If you need to leave before 6 am, we can try and accommodate you.

Late checkouts can be available by checking with us. Extra charges may apply. For checkouts between 1 pm and 3 pm, there would be a half day's charge if available. After 3pm, a full days charge would apply.

Our normal check out time is 11 am.

Our check in time is 1500 hours (3:00 pm). We can check you in earlier if your room is available and cleaned.

Yes, we can accept and hold a package at the hotel until your arrival. Please have the package addressed to you including our hotel name and if possible arrival date. Our address is Millwood Inn & Suites, 1375 El Camino Real, Millbrae, CA 94030.

Moscone convention center is about 16 miles from the hotel. One can go to Moscone using BART from the Millbrae station or the airport station.

From San Francisco, take US 101 south towards San Jose. Take the exit for Millbrae Ave and turn left at the light. Make another right onto El Camino Real. Our hotel is located one mile down on the left hand side.

From San Francisco, take BART to the airport station. At the airport, please be at the hotel shuttle pick up area located on the departure level. Our shuttle will circle the airport approximately every 35 minutes from 4 am till 12:50 am. Alternatively, one can take BART to the Millbrae station and either walk 1 mile to our hotel or take the ECR bus from the station to the bus stop across from our hotel.

To go to San Francisco from the hotel, one can take BART from either the Millbrae station or the airport station. The Millbrae station is located one mile from the hotel and is an easy walk or one can take a car to the station and park at the station. The airport station can be reached by using our complimentary airport shuttle from the hotel.

From the rental facility, make a left onto Airport Blvd. Follow signs for US 101 South towards San Jose. Take the exit for Millbrae Ave and turn left at the light. Make another right onto El Camino Real. Our hotel is located one mile down on the left hand side.

From the airport by car, take US 101 South towards San Jose. Take the first exit, Millbrae Ave and turn right at the light. Make another right onto El Camino Real. Our hotel is located one mile down on the left hand side.

Our complimentary shuttle service will circle the airport approximately every 35 minutes from 4 am till 12:50 am. To get the shuttle, please be at the hotel shuttle pick up area located on the departure level. Our shuttle will have our hotel logo and the name Classic Shuttle. No. Sorry, we require a major credit card to guarantee your room reservation. Please review the terms and cancellation policy before making your reservation.
As soon as you have completed the booking process, a confirmation page will appear in your browser session. This page shows all of your reservation details, including the booking number and your PIN code, so you can access your confirmation online. We will also send you a confirmation email with all of your booking information.
During the booking process you can enter any special requests into the "Special Requests" box on the "Your Details" page. Once you have received your booking confirmation, you can follow up with the hotel directly to confirm that your request can be met. Simply follow the instructions to modify or cancel your reservation found in your Reservation Confirmation Email. Alternately, you can find the link to Cancel or Modify Your Reservation in the footer of the hotel’s website. Yes. However, our hotel will only recognize a credit card on which the authorized payee’s name is clearly present and visible, copy of the payee’s identification and a credit card authorization form is completed and faxed back to our property. You can contact us for the Credit Card Authorization Form and for further instructions if your reservation will have a third party payee.
We consider a group to be a reservation of 6 rooms or more. For any group reservations, we request that you contact us directly or use the form that is spawned when you select 6+ rooms in the Check Availability function above.
